Stephanie Delahunt, LMT,  New York State License #009146

Skilled professionals should keep learning and updating their skills. Currently, New York State does not require any continuing education to maintain a massage license.  That's why I think that national certification and education is so valuable.

Orthopedic and Medical Massage:  Nationally Certified.

  •  World renowned Orthopedic Therapist James Waslawski.

  • Postural testing, finding the source of pain and restrictions.

  • Neuromuscular, connective tissue, and joint stabilization techniques.

    American Massage Therapy Association:  Member

  • Professional Organization devoted to support and national quality control for LMT's.
  • Membership demands continuing education not required by state license.

National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork:

  • Nationwide licensing board devoted to high standards for therapists in every state.
  • Membership demands continuing education not required by state license.
  • Especially important because many states don't certify or license massage therapy!

Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage:  Lead Hands on Instructor Since 1998

  • A driving force behind a strong medically oriented massage program, designing curriculum and advancing a consistently professional atmosphere.

    Certified Lymphedema Therapist:

  • Working with post-surgical patients to control swelling and health complications of impaired circulation.
  • Specially trained to work with Cancer patients, and patients who have had lymph nodes removed, thus compromising their immune system.
